My oldest son loved the idea of the Halloween Bark that I made last year, so he decided to make it his own by creating what he likes to call Summer Bark! All you need is 3 simple ingredients and you’ll end up with a delicious, fully customizable, VERY addictive treat! We never have leftovers when he makes this, so I highly recommend trying this out soon. Leave a comment below if you make this!
Step by step instructions:
First, add the chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl with a little bit of coconut oil. Adding the coconut oil before melting is key because it helps make the chocolate ultra smooth and also thins it out slightly for a better melting/dipping experience!
Next, microwave the chocolate chips in 15 second intervals, mixing well in between. It usually takes about 3 intervals to melt ½ cup of chocolate chips!
Line up your graham crackers on a piece of parchment paper and dip one side into the chocolate. Raghav loves using Trader Joe’s graham crackers because they come as single cookies that don’t need to be broken up!
Add on your toppings before the chocolate sets (his preferred topping is sprinkles, but you can use pretty much anything at this stage!).
Let the chocolate set for at least 30 minutes before eating. Enjoy!
