Apple Pastry with Cream Cheese Glaze

Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
- 1-2 apples thinly sliced
- Turbinado sugar
Cream Cheese Glaze
- 4 oz cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2-3 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Place the puff pastry sheet in a lined baking tray and press lightly to stretch it out slightly.
- Add the apples in concentric circles, overlapping each layer as you add the next.
- Fold the edges of the pastry over the apples and then brush with an egg or milk wash.
- Sprinkle with turbinado sugar and bake for 15 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
- While it bakes, mix together the glaze ingredients until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the pastry and serve warm. Enjoy!
