If your kids are anything like mine, they get extra excited to help make cookie dough. Usually because it means they get to enjoy tons of chocolate chips and mix ins before they go into the dough! They also spend a lot of time asking for cookie dough balls to enjoy before baking (one of the greatest joys of baking, imo). HOWEVER. I always get nervous about giving them even a little nibble of traditional cookie dough, which is where this wonderful recipe comes in!
Made without eggs and with the simple additional step of heat treating the flour (seriously, couldn’t be any easier!), this recipe is an absolute game changer. And being able to actually bake the dough for delicious, flavor-packed cookies? Absolute win in all ways!
