I have a problem with store bought granola. Every brand that I’ve tried (and I’ve tried almost everything!) always tastes stale, is over-sweetened, or doesn’t have nearly enough flavor. When I discovered how easy it is to make granola myself, it was a total game changer. I will never buy store-bought granola again, and I hope this recipe encourages you to do the same! Sometimes I like to mix in dark chocolate chunks or dried fruit, but the base recipe on its own is flavorful, perfectly sweet, and nutrient-dense. Side note: I like to store my granola in the refrigerator for an extended shelf life!
