1loaf Trader Joe’s sliced french briocheor any other thick sliced bread
⅓cupgranulated sugar
2-3tspcinnamon
½cupsoftened salted butter1 stick
Instructions
First, add the softened butter to a mixing bowl and top with the sugar and cinnamon. Mix with a fork until it forms a paste.
Next, use an offset spatula or butter knife to spread each side of the bread slices with the cinnamon sugar butter.
Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the bread until it is deeply golden and crisp on each side. The sugar will caramelize and create the most decadent, crunchy coating!
Place on a parchment lined baking rack to cool. Be sure not to stack them until cooled or they will stick together!
