Dark Chocolate & Nutella Puff Pastry

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1/3 cup Nutella
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chunks
  • Egg or milk wash
  • Turbinado sugar optional

Instructions

  • Thaw your puff pastry and press to flatten slightly.
  • Use a pizza cutter to create 9 squares.
  • Fill the middle of four of the squares with 2 tbsp Nutella and 1 tbsp chocolate chunks (do the same with the last square but with less filling and fold it in half).
  • Top with another piece of puff pastry and crump with a fork to seal.
  • Brush with a milk or egg wash and sprinkle on some turbinado sugar if desired.
  • Bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
