Preheat your oven to 375℉.
Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Grate in the butter and mix with your hands until well distributed.
In a separate bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, milk, and spices.
Add the pumpkin mixture to the flour mixture and fold to combine. Knead only until the flour has been incorporated!
Transfer the dough to your lined baking sheet and press into 1 inch tall rectangle (should be about 8” x 6”).
Cut into 9 squares and cut each square in half diagonally.
Spread the scones out on your baking sheet (about 1 inch apart) and bake for 10 minutes.
Allow to cool for 15 minutes on the tray before transferring to a rack to cool completely.
While the scones cool, whisk together your glaze ingredients until smooth. Add in a little more water as needed to thin it out to a spreadable consistency.
Dip your cooled scones into the glaze and allow to set for 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
